My name is Doreen Dziokonski.
I am 49 years old. I have had AS for over 20 years.
I am married with 3 children and 4 grand children.
I live in Massachusetts, USA.
I worked until arthritis got the better of me in 2011.
I have learned that my mind is my greatest asset in fighting this disease.
Everything that involves my body moving is torture. I refuse to give up or give in.
I will not let the diseases win.
My mind propels my body when it shouldn’t be able to move anymore.
I have learned how strong and resilient I am.
