A.S. Face 1598: Sarah Kennepohl
I am a new face! I was diagnosed Feb. 2016 after nearly 20 yrs of symptoms. The Sacroiliitis, facet joint spurs, costochondritis, multiple ankle fractures, plantar fasciitis and ulcerative colitis were never correlated to all the specialists I’ve seen over the years.
Finally made it to a Rheumatologist in Feb. and was diagnosed on the spot.
I am currently on Enbrel after a severe flare while on Humira and allergic reaction to Sulfasalazine. Still in pain. Still waiting on Enbrel to do its thing. No other pain meds though and it’s rough day to day. Rheumatologist won’t prescribe anything else. I have 4 beautiful children and I’m struggling to keep my part-time job since I’m not able to maintain my old full-time Medical Assistant career.
