A.S. Face 1595: Ashley Rose
I was diagnosed at age 12. I am 30 years old now and a mother of a beautiful and energetic 9 year old girl. I struggle a lot, to pay for medicine, to walk, to get out of bed, and to be the mom I wish I could be. It does get me down that there are days when I can’t play with her, I can’t run around outside, or ride my bike. AS has taken a lot, but I won’t let it take my spirit and my drive. I’m going to try and I’m going to do as much as I can when I can. That’s all we can do. Power through the bad days and embrace the good days when they happen.
