A.S. Face 1324: Billy Gillean
My name is Billy Gillean and I've suffered AS since I was about 14. I was diagnosed at 35. This disease has robbed me of everything. I've went through 2 divorces, and now I'm homeless in my struggle to get proper treatment and help.
My story isn't so different from any other- AS is a daily struggle to try to have a "normal" life. So far living in Michigan I've yet to find a doctor that will listen and help manage my pain. I'm tired of being treated like a drug addict. I just want to do the things I love that AS has taken from me- but damn it, I will win this fight!!!
