A.S. Face 0821: Richie Morris
My name is Richie Morris and I was diagnosed with A.s. in 2006. After seeing every type of back specialist in the area, I went to my regular doctor, weirdly enough as a last ditch effort, and he completed a blood test. I tested positive with the gene HLAB27, A.S.
I was very active, and an outdoor enthusiast, snowboarding, snowmobiling, Atv’ING fishing hunting etc. I still have issues, realizing it hurts too much, and that I can’t do it. My life revolves around 2 sons, 17 and 11, and my lovely wife. I still force myself to go to work everyday, and have a wonderful career in a Yamaha Superstore. I started on Enbrel, then moved over to humira. Affording the meds is very hard, but I make it happen. I just want off this rollercoaster.
