A.S. Face 2082: Candy

I suffered with aches and pains for years. One day when I was at my chiropractor getting adjusted he was barely touching me and I was saying ouch ouch ouch. He told me to get tested for Fibromyalgia. So for many years, I believed that was what was wrong with me. Where I lived no one would see you if you had that diagnosis. We moved to Alabama and my Dr sent me to a rheumatologist who drew blood for testing. When the results came back she came into the room and told me I had AS. I went home and proceeded to research what I had…OMG, it explained a lot of things. I’ve spent the last 3 years figuring out my disease. I stay as active as I can. I try to listen to my body and realize that there are days I don’t get out of bed. I’m extremely fortunate, my family is kind and caring. My husband loves me and never makes me feel like he thinks I’m lazy or faking. Praise the good Lord for the things and people in my life. I couldn’t manage the things in my life without help and care.
