I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis in 2013 at the age of 39 after a long road and being called a drug seeker by more than one doc. I’m now 44, on Remicade and Arava from my rheumatologist, and gabapentin, baclofen and oxycodone from my pain management guy. Most days are ok, but I still have bad days and horrible flares. I do yoga to help, walk my dogs daily and try to keep moving no matter what.
