A.S. Face 1775: Kendra Englehart
My name is Kendra Englehart
I am 31 years old.
My pain started when I was either 18 or 19 I can’t remember exactly which year it was. I went to many doctors trying to figure out why I was in so much excruciating pain all the time. Time after time I was told it was just because I was too fat and I needed to lose weight. Eventually I began to believe this theory of theirs and gave up even going to see any doctors at all. Then about 4 years ago I came across something on the Internet about Ankylosing Spondylitis and it sounded a lot like some of the things I was experiencing. So I started doing more research on it and came to my own conclusions that this MOST be what I’m suffering with. I finally decided to go to a new doctor in the new town I live in to try to finally get diagnosed. I fought for 2 years with this doctor to get some kind of answers… FINALLY last March (2016) I was diagnosed with A.S. YAY! FINALLY I HAVE ANSWERS…. the only problem now is I don’t have insurance right now to be able to do any kind of treatments. So for now I still suffer with this pain, but at least I have some answers now
