A.S. Face 0941: Jimmy Pope
I picked this picture to use because it shows my mother and I, who happened to be my biggest supporter. I am from Hallsboro, NC (USA) and was diagnosed with A.S. in February 2013, although I have had the disease for longer than that since I am considered advanced A.S. Complete fusion of the spine, erosion of S.I. joints, trouble with eyesight, etc. I am almost 42 years old (birthday in November) and the people and experiences found on Faces makes me feel that I am not going through this alone.
